neverstopquestioning:Tarkovsky’s Stalker

neverstopquestioning:Tarkovsky’s Stalker

These days.. I rarely find the time to write or take photos (blame that on the lack of a quality camera and crappy writing skills). But it’s come to my attention that some of the things I do write, people don’t think I do. So from now on I’ll be marking my work/photos with “-o.r.h” However shitty my writing/photos may be (and trust me, for the most part they are shitty), I  don’t want people assuming I ripped anything off from someone else. So yeah. Also, for things I do find that aren’t mine (photos, quotes, etc.) I will do my best to provide links or artist info. Oh and, I have a mild OCD thing when it comes to the lay out of my blog for some god awful reason, so occasionally I will remove the “via(…)” from photos or songs..this is not to be rude, I just think it looks “cleaner”. I felt the need to make that understood. And if I have ripped any of you off, my apologies, it was unintentional.

Speaking of..whatever the hell this is about-I bought a set of adorable pjs tonight. Things are lookin’ up. Hope you’re all well and have a nice Thanksgiving (in the states)… and have a wonderful day (to everyone else out there).

Self Portrait, with grill, Big Sur — Hunter S. Thompson, c. 1960s

“I returned to the Holiday Inn — where they have a swimming pool and air-conditioned rooms — to consider the paradox of a nation that has given so much to those who preach the glories of rugged individualism from the security of countless corporate sinecures, and so little to that diminishing band of yesterday’s refugees who still practice it, day by day, in a tough, rootless and sometimes witless style that most of us have long since been weaned away from.”  Hunter S. Thompson, 1979

Beneath the sterile sheets there lay tiny electrodes taped to my chest, they jolted the beasts of philosophy and void that had raged inside me for so long…my heart lightly stirred, and I felt at home.
